Ivory Records Corporation was established on August 11, 1983, just ten (10) days before Ninoy Aquino was assassinated. The economic situation then was really appalling that people predicted the company’s downfall in less than six (6) months.
At about the time Ivory Records Corporation (IRC) started, a new music craze emerged- the Karaoke- Sing-Along, and Ivory cashed in on the boom through the production and sales of minus one tapes. Later on, a new product called the Multiplex was developed. This innovation sustained the early growth years of Ivory Records Corporation.
SUY, born in Cavite and raised in Davao City, started in the music industry as one of the lead singers for Natural High in Manila in 2004. Her repertoire are mostly soul, RnB and pop. Her soulfully relaxing voice makes her truly distinct from other singers. She loves to listen to the music of Stevie Wonder, India, Arie, Jill Scott, Mary J Blige and Alicia Keys.
When Natural High disbanded, she began her solo career as a professional recording artist – doing compilation albums for different recording companies and singing back-up vocals for famous recording artists.
